Before you were our Cash Man you were Lima Bean. We called you this throughout the entire pregnancy because you were the size of a Lima Bean when we found out we were pregnant with you. We were so excited to meet you someday.
Dad would come home and say hi to you before he said hi to me. He would go straight to my belly where you lived and would put his hands on you. He would say 'hey baby' in a really funny kind of weird voice. I loved it. So did you. As soon as you heard your dads voice you would wiggle and squirm inside me.
Now, as soon as you hear your dads voice you turn your head until you find him and as soon as you do you give him a huge smile. It's amazing. You know exactly who your daddy is.
When you were born the nurses put you in my arms. You were screaming. I was holding you and said 'hi bud' and you stopped screaming and looked right at me. You looked right into my eyes. I fell in love with you. You knew exactly who I was.
One night while we were still in the hospital the nurses brought you in. We took turns holding you. Dad took you and the two of you looked at each other for the longest time. You were falling in love with each other and I was falling in love with my family.
I caught that moment for you. I never want any of us to forget that moment. The moment when we bonded and became a unbreakable family.
